TRAINING FOR TEACHERS WITHIN THE PROJECT ILLLUMINE

Within the Erasmus+ project ILLUMINE – A community for exploring and sharing uses of evidence-based teaching strategies, trainings for teachers of the Medical School “Nadežda Petrović”, which is an associated partner in the project, have been regularly organized since October 2021. The topic of the training is the integration of knowledge from the science of learning and knowledge from research that deals with the professional development of teachers. Participants have the opportunity to become better acquainted with concepts from neuroscience, effective learning and teaching strategies, the impact of emotions on learning and academic achievement. Relying on this knowledge, as well as by exchanging examples of good practice, teachers will design and implement innovative teaching activities in the following months, which will be presented in case studies on the Project Platform and in the teacher’s manual.
